Irish Coddle – A less famous dish, the coddle is reminiscent of a stew. Comprised of hearty bacon and pork sausage, onions, and potatoes, this homey, rustic dish is slow cooked together in a rich gravy until everything is infused with savory flavor.

Dublin Lawyer – Named after the city's wealthy lawyers and their fondness of whiskey, this seafood dish is served in a creamy whiskey sauce. Sometimes made with shrimp or crab, the dish is typically made with lobster and served on pasta, rice, or toasted slices of bread.

Irish Stew – Born of necessity, like so many of our favorite meals, Irish stew made a meal out of leftovers and scraps. Slow cook mutton or lamb with hearty, root vegetables like turnips, carrots, or parsnips for a traditional St. Patrick’s Day Dinner.


Colcannon - Colcannon is a classic, simple potato and cabbage dish, that often varies from family to family. Check out our recipe for this traditional Irish side dish.

Champ - Another delicious way to upgrade mashed potatoes. To create this creamy, green-flecked side dish, add chopped scallions or chives to your favorite mash. Leeks, nettles, peas, and brown crispy onions are also delicious additions to this recipe.

Barmbrack – Traditionally made for Halloween, Barmbrack is a dried fruit & spice bread that is soaked overnight in cold tea or whiskey and reminiscent of fruit cake.
