How to Prepare and Cook Scallops

Follow these easy step-by-step directions for cooking scallops. And learn more about Pierport® Scallops here.

  1. Gently dry scallops with a paper towel.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on a dash of salt and pepper.
  3. Cook scallops in a pan on high heat to prevent drying out.
  4. Don’t touch – allow to caramelize about 1 minute on each side.
  5. Scallops are done when they’re opaque and bounce back when pressed.
  6. Plate and enjoy!
