Spicy Caper Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Villa Frizzoni® Spaghetti SFC# 3324721
  • 3 tbsp Villa Frizzoni olive oil SFC# 2246981
  • 3 tbsp Villa Frizzoni capers SFC# 2001511
  • 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Katy’s Kitchen Dried Basil SFC# 4603221
  • 1/2 tsp Katy’s Kitchen Dried Oregano SFC# 4612391
  • 1/4 tsp Katy’s Kitchen Smoky Paprika SFC# 4604331
  • 1 tsp Katy’s Kitchen Red Pepper Flakes SFC# 4612541
  • 1/4 tsp Katy’s Kitchen Cracked Black Pepper SFC# 4612471

Directions

  1. Cook pasta in salty water as per packaging. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, add olive oil to a pot over medium-low heat. Add capers and fry for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and add garlic. Cook garlic for 3 minutes, or until it is soft and fragrant.
  4. Add spices and cook on low for 5 minutes, until oil has absorbed the flavor and spices have softened.
  5. Add cooked pasta, and cheese and give a toss. Cook in the oil for 1 minute before serving.
