2020 Supplier of the Year Awards
Shamrock Foods, the largest independent foodservice distributor in the West, announced its 6th Annual Supplier of the Year Awards at its virtual Supplier Summit event themed “Stronger Together.”
“While this year’s summit was virtual, it certainly didn’t stop us from working together to identify strategies and solutions to help our foodservice customers through this uniquely challenging time,” said John Roussel, Chief Operating Officer for Shamrock Foods. “Our supplier partnerships are the foundation of our success, and we’re proud to work with the best of the best.”
The big winner was Ajinomoto who was recognized as both Supplier of the Year as well as the winner of the Frozen Grocery Category. Ajinomoto, a leader in frozen food manufacturing, has shown a mindset of continuous operational improvement, and demonstrates the gold-standard of partnership and engagement with Shamrock Foods and our customers. With strong annual case growth and innovative marketing support, Ajinomoto achieved success in all key metrics with Shamrock Foods.
In all, 7 supplier partners were recognized in 9 categories including the overarching Supplier of the Year. The 2020 Supplier Awards winners are as follows:
