Ingredients
3 Slices BelGioioso® Fresh Mozzarella
1 Cup Katy's Kitchen AP Flour
1 Fair Meadow® Large Egg, whisked
Breadcrumbs
20g Markon® Fresh Herbs (Parsley and Basil)
White or Dark Balsamic Glaze
Villa Frizzoni® Marinara Sauce (optional)
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Season breadcrumbs with herbs, salt and pepper.
- Cover cheese in flour, dust off excess and add to egg. Place cheese in bread crumb mix and store until service.
- On pick up, re-dredge in breadcrumbs to absorb any moisture and fry at 350°F until light brown.
- Top with tomato salad and balsamic glaze. Serve with side of marinara sauce, if desired.
