With the opening of our New Mexico distribution center in 2007, Shamrock Foods now boasts an even higher level of service to restaurant and institutional operators throughout the Rocky Mountains and Southwest. Shamrock Foods' commitment to being the best provider of foodservice products remains our number one priority, and our strength as a value-added foodservice supplier continues to grow.

Shamrock Foods serves nine states in the Intermountain Region from corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona and distribution warehouses in Phoenix, Denver, Colorado, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ranked in the top ten nationally in US foodservice companies, Shamrock Foods utilizes a new leading-edge fully-automated distribution center in Phoenix and distributes more than 16,000 products to a variety of foodservice customers.

That complete product mix is in the following categories: dry and frozen groceries, fresh dairy products, fresh and frozen seafood and meat, produce, dietary products, equipment and beverage and chemical supplies.

Distribution Centers

Arizona Distribution Center
Arizona
The Arizona distribution facility includes approximately 850,000 square feet of storage space for Shamrock's complete line of dry and frozen foods, fresh dairy products, fresh boxed beef, fresh portion controlled steaks, fresh and frozen ground beef patties, seafood and produce. Showcasing an innovative fully automated distribution center, this facility is state-of-the-art and includes temperature-controlled portions of the warehouse with computerized fruit and vegetable-ripening rooms and loading docks. This location also houses test kitchens, administrative and sales offices, and Shamrock's meat plant.

Colorado Distribution Center
Colorado
The Colorado distribution center has a 16,000-plus item inventory of fresh produce and seafood, dry and frozen groceries, Shamrock Farms dairy products, paper and table-top equipment and beverage, ware wash dispenser programs. Featuring a warehouse of over 270,000 square feet - and 15 new acres of land that the Colorado Division is ready to expand into as it continues to grow its business in the Rocky Mountain region. Located in the Denver Metro area, this office serves a five state region – Colorado, Western Kansas, Western Nebraska, Wyoming and Northern New Mexico.

New Mexico

Shamrock Foods has served the New Mexico market for over 25 years out of the Phoenix and Denver distribution centers, but with the completion of the company's new facility on Albuquerque's west side, New Mexico customers now benefit from a higher level of service. The new facility makes it possible to service existing customers quicker and more efficiently, and sets the stage for a coordinated expansion into the vibrant Albuquerque marketplace.

The new distribution center boasts 180,000 square feet of space, and is one of the ten biggest distribution facilities in the state.

Equally important to the expansion into the New Mexico market was the purchase in July 2006 of DPI Southwest, an Albuquerque-based supplier of non-food products, janitorial supplies, beverages and dry goods. DPI Southwest, or Southwest Distributing, has been a key figure in New Mexico for over 60 years, and compliments Shamrock’s legacy with an equally solid commitment to the people, customers and local markets there. A former subsidiary of the Irish Dairy Board, Southwest Distributing focuses primarily on food service. In addition to its distribution business, Southwest Distributing also operates five Southwest Cash & Carry retail stores throughout New Mexico, which brings another dimension of customer service to Shamrock's New Mexico operation.
